2. Studio Canal:
- Based in France and is also a popular producing company, although not in comparison to Universal Pictures.
- Currently have 5 films in development
- Also have only released around 270 films
3. Relativity Media:
- Based in the US also however is not a big company
- released roughly 80 films, however does have 20 in the making.
4. Working Title Films:
- This is the only one of the producers for atonement that is set in Great Britain
- Not a big company in comparison to ohers
- roughly produced 120 films
- Currently 21 in development
This is a good review of the production companies behind the film. What does this tell you about the modern film industry? Would you call Atonement a British film knowing this information? Why do you think it took 4 companies to produce 1 film?
