Careers in the Media- Skillset

There have been noticeable changes in employment over the past two years. More people were working in cable and satellite, while fewer were working in terrestrial channels
This suggests that people are constantly upgrading to get a bigger variety of television shoes, and also many people are using the internet to watch television.
The majority of women in the media work in Broadcast and Radio and only 38% percent of the workforce are women.
Due to a reduction in the web and internet workforce, there has been a small drop in employment in an interactive media.
The Skillset census suggest that the industry is low paid and has a much younger workforce. It is more representative of the country as a whole than many other industries, and is less attractive to men and more attractive to women
