Institutions and Audiences

1)There are many ways to 'read' the BBC. The Television, the BBC have many channels on the channel includion BBC 1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, News 24 CBBC fior children, Cbeebies for younger children naf others. The Internet, the main BBC website has many links to go to, for instance bbc news, bbc sport, cbbc, cbeebies, and many of the programs on BBC have many of there own sights, forinstance Dr. Who. Now BBC iplyaer enables people to watch programs they have missed on tv watch it on the internet.
The BBC have many Radio stations, including radio 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. not only can you get it on the radio, you can also interact with it on the television.

2)Doctor Who, is meant for many a wide range of audiaence from young children to adults although, it seems mainly based for children. There are toys, games and magazines for them. The website has many games, blogs and a way for the children to feel closer to the program this therefore engages the children, the cartoon version for the children woudl be better to watch, rather than the original. Whereas older ages interact more by watching the programs rather than looking at the website.

3) The Televison is were ordinarily an audience would watch Doctor who or recordin on the television. Although there are other options as to how to watch it. After each series The Doctor Who DVD comes out which has all the episodes on from the last series. Another way to watch an episode is on BBC Iplayer although, they only have an episode up to a month. Using other illegal websites, it is very easy to access any episode.

4) Film indusrty in Britian:
  • Studying all the films made in Britian in the past.
  • Films made by british directors
  • Film industry using many famous British actors/ actress'

5) How does the film industry 'converge' with the internet?
